Virginia State Yo-Yo Contest

About the event

Virginia's Yo-Yo Contest Comes to Northern VA

The Virginia State Yo-Yo Contest has been a Virginia tradition since 2006, when the first contest was held on January 21. In 2026 it came to Northern Virginia for the first time: Center Court at Dulles Town Center, Saturday crowds, and a community that loves what it does.

Emceed by Brian Melford. Stella Duellum, hosted by Anneurismz for Prismatic Stars, ran at 12:00 PM with its own sign-up.

Entirely volunteer-run. Every dollar goes straight to the event. Organized by DMV Throwers Yo-Yo & Skill Toy Club.
