Who can join?

Kids in kindergarten through 5th grade. Boys and girls are welcome.

When and where do you meet?

Pack meetings 1st Thursday, den meetings 3rd Thursday, 6:30–7:30 PM. Location: Covington-Harper Elementary School auditorium, Dumfries VA.

Can we visit before we join?

Yes! Come to any meeting. Email admin@pack1125.org first so we can watch for you.

How much does it cost?

Pack dues for this year are to be announced; email us for current rates. On top of pack dues, Scouting America registration is $85, the NCAC participation fee is $80 for first-year Cub Scouts, and adult registration is $65. Financial aid is available, and no Scout is turned away for cost.

Which den will my Scout be in?

One den per grade: Lion (K), Tiger (1st), Wolf (2nd), Bear (3rd), Webelos (4th), and Arrow of Light (5th).

Do parents stay during meetings?

Yes. Cub Scouting is a family program, and adults stay on site during meetings. Lions and Tigers take part with an adult partner.

What does my Scout need?

A uniform and the handbook for their rank, both available from the Scout Shop. Ask us about used uniforms.

Is Pack 1125 affiliated with a religion?

No. Pack 1125 is a secular pack, open to all families. We're chartered by Future Kings, Inc., a Dumfries-based nonprofit.
