Who can join?
Girls in kindergarten through 12th grade. All girls are welcome.
When and where do you meet?
Meeting schedule to be announced. Location: Dumfries VA.
Can we visit before we join?
Yes! Email and we'll invite you to a meeting.
How much does it cost?
Includes the annual Girl Scouts membership plus troop dues (to be announced). Financial assistance is available through Girl Scouts Nation's Capital — cost should never keep a girl from joining.
What are the Girl Scout levels?
Daisy (K–1), Brownie (2–3), Junior (4–5), Cadette (6–8), Senior (9–10), and Ambassador (11–12).
Can parents volunteer?
Yes, and we'd love the help. Volunteers are screened and trained through our Girl Scout council.
Which service unit are we in?
Service Unit 80-4 of Girl Scouts Nation's Capital, serving the Dumfries area.
We're a new troop — can we still join?
Yes! Troop 80301 just formed for the 2026–2027 Girl Scout year and is open for registration. Email us and we'll get you started.
