Who can play?
Kids ages 4 to 14. Boys and girls of every skill level are welcome.
Does my child need experience?
No. We teach the basics, and every player gets playing time.
When and where do you practice and play?
Practices one weeknight; games Saturday mornings. Location: Springfield Park fields, Springfield VA.
How much does it cost?
$85 per season includes a jersey, insurance, and field fees. Scholarships are available, and no child is ever turned away for cost.
What gear do we need?
Shin guards, socks that cover them, cleats or athletic shoes, a ball (size 3 for U8 and under, size 4 through U12, size 5 after that), and a water bottle.
Do parents need to volunteer?
Every team needs a few helpers: coaches, team parents, snack and field volunteers. No experience needed, and we'll train you.
What happens when the weather is bad?
Safety comes first. We stop for lightning and extreme heat, and we email families as soon as a practice or game is canceled.
